Moonlight Hike (& Social) to Crystal Bay Fire Lookout

Join us for a beautiful evening hike to the Crystal Bay Fire Lookout as we enjoy the magic of Tahoe after sunset. We’ll meet at the Recreation Center at 5:45 p.m. and travel together to the trailhead. Enjoy a scenic hike as the sun sets and the moon rises, with time to relax and take in the views once we reach the top. At the start of the hike, each participant will receive a wine and charcuterie box to carry with them on the hike. Once we reach the top, we’ll relax, enjoy the wine and charcuterie, and take in the beautiful evening scenery. Participants are responsible for carrying their own wine and charcuterie box during the hike, so please bring a small bag or backpack to make it easier to carry. Seating in IVGID vehicles is limited to the first 13 participants who register. If you are not one of the first 13 to register, please plan to carpool, as parking at the trailhead is limited. Please wear sturdy hiking shoes and dress appropriately for the evening weather. A headlamp or flashlight is recommended for the return portion of the hike. Space is limited, so advance registration is encouraged.
